Juanita Mary (Byrd) Doshier of Henryetta Ok was born on April 24th, 1943 to Muriel Lane Byrd and Freeman Byrd in Port Hueneme California. She spent several years in that area with her family before eventually moving to Texanna Ok, the home of her mother. She lived in that area until she married Ruedell Doshier of Texanna on December 31st, 1958. To that union 4 children were born David, Debbie, Barbara and Kathy.
Nita held multiple jobs throughout her life, even owning a floral shop for a few years. She was a member of the First Free Will Baptist Church of Checotah where she, her husband and her daughter Barbara were baptized on the same day. She remained active in the children’s ministry until her health began to fail.
Her favorite job however was Nan and she was well known in that area. She had 12 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. She was so thankful for Facebook to keep up with each of them.
Juanita was preceeded in death by her parents, baby sister Neva her sisters Helen, and Billie Tomlin, brother John and Ronald Byrd, her husband Ruedell, son David, and great granddaughter Maci.
Juanita is survived by Debbie and Chris Breitenbucher of Chesapeake VA, Barbara and Terry Cossey of Oklahoma City and Kathy and Ronnie Ruth of Henryetta. She is also survived by her sisters, Sandra Harris and Pat Bumgarner of Eufaula and a brother, Richard Byrd of Kansas. She is also survived by her brother in-law Leland and Terri Lane of Texanna. Multiple nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews plus a multitude of adoptees that she called her chosen ones.
