Vivian Fern Briggs was born to Earl Gene Briggs and Helen Mae (Wells) Briggs on December 4, 1959 in Kansas City, Kansas.

She loved her children and grandchildren to the moon and back.  She would do anything in her power for them.  She also loved helping others.  Her brothers and sisters grew up calling her "Fern" until she was grown and wanted to be called Vivian.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Robert Lee Briggs and Earl Leon Briggs, an uncle and five aunts.

She is survived by her children, Kristen Diane Sheppard, Grayson Banks Ramsey and Madysyn Nicole Pinney; grandchildren, Aliyah Marie Sheppard, Claude Kobe Sheppard (Kobe) and Noah Murai Sheppard, who gave her the name "MeMaw;" brothers Charles Michael Nalley (Mike) and his wife Linda, Jimmy Dale Briggs and his wife Kathleen and Bryan Keith Briggs; sisters, Linda Sue Miller, Carol Lee Denney and spouse Dwain and Margaret Ann Justice, Earlene May Von Fumetti, Velta Rose Edwards, Jeanne Hobson and Linda Gail Webster; many nieces, nephews, cousins and many, many friends throughout the years.
